Meet Henry Takasan

My name is Henry Takasan & I own Hat Creek Records and the Golden Lotus Cafe in Hat Creek, Alberta. Hat Creek Records is a bit of a unique record and CD store.  Hat Creek Records specializes in cowboy, Hawaiian & world music. I opened Hat Creek Records in 2000. It is Hat Creek’s only record store. I also seem to be playing music from my huge collection of vinyl and CDs. I am sure you’ll hear something you like.

I am also an experienced chef.  I was originally trained as a sushi chef before going to for a work local outfitter preparing meals for hungry cowboys on the Northern Range. I love to serve local cuisine with world flavour. But my real loves are music and fly fishing.! I have a huge collection of vinyl and CDs which I play in the cafe all the time.
